Kaspersky Lab Enhances its Office in the Middle East

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, has appointed Ghassan Darri as its new Managing Director for the Middle East Region, and strengthened the local leadership team responsible for development in the Enterprise sector.

Ghassan Darri has over 20 years' experience in the IT industry in the Middle East and North Africa, working with multinational IT companies like Oracle, SAP, and VMWare (EMC) in leadership and management, presales, sales, business development and professional services. He graduated from Kuwait University with honors in Engineering and Computer Science, followed by a number of management courses at the University of Alberta, Canada. In his new role Ghassan will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategy, especially in the Enterprise sector, and leading the local team to new successes.

Earlier the local team was reinforced with new Enterprise Account Managers for Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Khalid Abu Baker who held the position of a Managing Director earlier and has been with Kaspersky Lab since 2010, left the company in pursuit of new career developments.
