Three-time grand prix winner, Giancarlo Fisichella won the Australian Grand Prix (AGP) in 2005. This March, he is back to win the GT races at the upcoming AGP and has been placed behind the wheel of Kaspersky Lab branded Ferrari 488 GT3.
The 45-year-old Italian is currently racing for Kaspersky Motorsport as the official driver in the international GT competition throughout Europe, USA and the Australian Grand Prix which marks him as the highest profiled driver at this year’s approaching GT race.
He is scheduled for two qualifying session followed by a 25 minute race, every day starting Friday, 23nd March 2018 to the finale on Sunday, 25th March 2018.
Fisichella’s most memorable win was the Australian Grand Prix in 2005 where he started on pole and on race day, lead from the first to the last lap. He tells fans down under, “I have participated in many races in different countries around the world, but racing in Australia is always something special for me. I have great memories of Albert Park, above all the pole position and victory in F1® in 2005. I am also really proud to be the brand ambassador of Kaspersky Lab in Australia, which is giving me the great opportunity to race the Ferrari 488 GT3 of Maranello Motorsport.”,
