Kaspersky Premium for Windows was given two “ADVANCED+” awards, the highest possible, for successfully passing the AV-Comparatives Malware Protection evaluation with a 99.99% rate and receiving a perfect score of 187 points in the Performance Test, making it the security solution with the lowest impact on device performance.
Over the past four years, Kaspersky researchers have tracked a steady rise in the number of malicious files detected daily. By 2024, the number hit a new record of 467,000 malicious files per day, a staggering reminder that the average user faces an ever-growing deluge of digital dangers.
Kaspersky's 2025 data reveals that 25% of its users encountered web-based threats, while 30% dealt with on-device attacks. These figures show that cyber risks aren't just increasing – they're becoming more prevalent in our everyday digital lives.

In the latest Malware Protection evaluation Kaspersky Premium showed outstanding results with a malware protection rate of 99.99% on a test collection of 9,995 files, proving high-level defense against malicious software.
Notably, Kaspersky showed a minimal false-positive alert rate among all vendors, which highlights its efficiency in distinguishing malicious objects and providing anti-malware protection.
This award marks the second time this year that Kaspersky Premium has demonstrated exceptional performance in Malware Protection tests. In the first test conducted in March 2025, the product also achieved a top ranking after demonstrating a 100% online protection rate and zero false positives.
Top protection & minimal performance impact
For individual users, another crucial factor is how cybersecurity software affects overall system efficiency, since background-running programs inevitably consume the system's resources.
